    Staying at POFQ for 1st time. I've read enough that I'm hoping for bldg 5 due to best proximity to bus stop, food court, pool & boat. I've put in request; I know its not guaranteed. How does online check-in work? Will I see what bldg/room is assigned t

    I'm staying in Walt Disney World right now!!

    Port Orleans French Quarter is a quaint resort and you'll find that even the furthest buildings are actually fairly close to the food court, pool, and Sassagoula Riverboat.

    Since you've put in your request, your next step is to Check In online. During the Check In process, you'll be able to share your request again.

    You will not find out your room assignment until you arrive the resort where you can again reiterate your request. Yes, requests are not guaranteed but of all the resorts, POFQ is the one where I am the least concerned about room placement due to the small and charming resort size!
