We are staying at POFQ Sept 12-20, we did NOT book a preferred room, but I did request a room in building 4 or 5, do you think that will be possible?( dont really care what are view is) Or are they for guests who only booked preferred rooms??

Hello Amber,

My family has never booked a preferred room for our Disney vacations. But we have been lucky enough to stay in Building 4 at Port Orleans - French Quarter during our last visit. Preferred rooms are usually Resort rooms closest to the Main Lobby and dining at the Resort. And you can't get much closer to any of those than Building 4. Our room overlooked the courtyard opposite the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. It was close enough to the action but far enough that I felt like I was immersed in New Orleans! Disney makes every attempt to fulfill its Guests requests. So if there are rooms available in the Buildings you requested, they'll do everything they can to get you in!
