    Hi! Staying at POFQ in Sept with husband and 14 mo. old. Thinking of using taxis to get to/frrom the parks, to reduce bus wait times. Could you tell me how much the taxis generally cost?

    Walt Disney World has a great relationship with its official cab company, Mears. You'll generally find a variety of vehicles in the parking lots of the Parks and Resorts, ready to hire; additionally, you can have any Cast Member at the front desk call and set up a taxi for you well in advance.

    Ride costs are minimal, but vary from destination to destination. I hesitate to give an exact amount per destination because rates are subject to change without notice.

    Mears offers a Taxi Fare Estimator on its Web site:

    That might give you a better idea of what to expect.
