We are staying at POFQ in Oct. After reading some of the not so good things about the busses I'm thinking maybe we should rent a car. Can we still take ME & then rent a car on Disney property? Also, is it easy to navigate around the parks & cost to

We took Magical Express from the airport to our hotel and then used ME to take us back to the airport. We used National rental service at the Dolphin hotel.

On the day after our arrival, we toured the Animal Kingdom in the morning. When we exited the park, my husband took a bus to the Dolphin to pick up the rental car. My son and I took a bus back to the hotel. My husband said it was very convenient and the Valet even drove the car right around to him. It was so easy in fact that my husband beat us back to the hotel!

On our last full day in WDW, we toured Epcot in the morning. Prior to lunch time, my husband exited Epcot and returned the car to the Dolphin. He then met us at the Boardwalk resort for lunch. Then we all returned to Epcot to finish touring before our mid-day break.

It is very easy to navigate on property. For example, we could leave the Grand Floridian, pick up my Mom at the Pop Century and then drive to the Animal Kingdom all within 30 minutes. Even getting to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at Ft. Wilderness was easy by car.

There is no cost for parking if you are a WDW resort guest. You will show your Key to the World card at the toll booth.

Some guests enjoy the buses so they don't have to navigate, find a parking spot, etc.
