Hi all! Staying at POFQ nov 13-23, is it possible to venture to bay lake towers to walk about the resort, and travel a few stories up to look at the views? Also can you watch the electrical water pageant even if you're not staying there?

    Hi Nicole,

Your magical Disney vacation will be here before you know it.  You must be so excited!

My sister's family stayed at Bay Lake Tower this past June and they told me that the resort is generally not accessible to guests unless they are registered at the resort and have a room key.  You must present or scan your room key at the front entrance or at the skybridge to the Contemporary to gain access to the resort so it is not likely that you'll be able to enter Bay Lake Tower to explore.  However, Disney's Contemporary Resort (which is right next door) is easily accessible to guests who are simply visiting.  The views you will enjoy from the higher levels at this resort will be very similar to the ones you would find at Bay Lake Tower.

You might also consider stopping by any of the Disney Vacation Club kiosks throughout the Walt Disney World resorts and theme parks.  The guides you find there may be able to offer you a tour of Bay Lake Tower.

Wishing you a November vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!

    Jill

PS.  If you're looking for an awesome spot to view the Electrical Water Pageant, head to the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  You can catch the evening fireworks above Cinderella Castle there too.  It's my all time favorite viewing location for both Wishes and the Electrical Water Pageant.
