    Staying at POFQ and we need transportation to Storybook Breakfast at Akershus at 9:30am using Disney System, but we would like to enter through International Gateway instead of Epcot Main entrance. What is the best method to accomplish this? How early?

    Hi Douglas, it sounds like you have a regal morning planned for special princess or prince, perhaps? I think you are going to have a delightful and scrumptious breakfast at Akershus.

    I am a huge fan of the International Gateway entrance into World Showcase. It does tend to be a much more relaxed entry into the park. Since you are coming from a resort different than those that are easily accessed from the boat transportation or within walking distance from this entrance, you will have to make a transfer. There is no direct bus transportation from resort to resort. I would say the easiest route would be to take the bus from Port Orleans French Quarter to Hollywood Studios. This bus ride takes about 18-20 minutes (not including wait time). From there take a boat to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. Keep in mind that these boats make several stops at the Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, and Yacht/Beach. The boat ride itself (not including wait time) takes about 25-30 min.This is not the speediest transportation, so you will probably need to allow about an hour or more for this method to budget time spent for waiting and making the transfers. You could also make a bus transfer at Hollywood Studios to the Beach Club and then walk to the International Gateway entrance. However, this could also take about the same amount of time. The walk itself between the Beach Club and International Gateway is about 5-10 minutes (could be longer depending on your pace). The quickest way to get there would be to take the bus directly from Port Orleans French Quarter to Epcot's main entrance. Even though you wouldn't enter through your preferred entrance, you will arrive much faster and spend less time at bus stops/boat docks waiting for the transfers. This method would probably take about 20-30 minutes.
