Hi Moms, we're staying at POFQ may 2014 and wondered which building would suit us best, 2 adults, 2 children, 3 yrs and 5yrs. Also we don't want to be near any smoking areas, Thanks

    Hello Melissa,

You are going to love the simple charm of Port Orleans French Quarter during your stay at Walt Disney World.

I'm happy to tell you that ALL resort rooms are non-smoking and smoking is NOT permitted on the balconies or in the hallways. There are specific designated smoking common areas. To avoid these areas, I would request Building 3 or Building 4. Both of these buildings are close to the pool area as well as the main building with the food court. Building 4 is also closest to the bus stop to head to the theme parks. Keep in mind that even these buildings have a small area that might be closest to the designated outside smoking area. If you mention your desire to be away from those areas, I'm sure that the cast members will try their best to accommodate you. Just keep in mind that requests cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability.

Have a magical trip and be sure to try the beignets one morning at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (food court)! They are one of my favorite unique breakfast treats and definite taste of classic New Orleans.
