I am staying at POFQ in March. I have dinner reservations at the Yacht Club, Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian. What would be the best way to get to these locations?

    Hi Kelly,

You are going to love staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. It's a fantastic Resort!

The best way to get to the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian Resort hotels, you will need to catch a bus from your hotel to the Magic Kingdom and then from there take the monorail or boat across to your desired location.

For the Yacht Club Resort hotel, you will need to either take a bus from your Resort hotel to the Magic Kingdom & then transfer to another bus or take a boat from your Resort hotel to Downtown Disney and then from there take a bus to the Yacht Club Resort hotel.

I would recommend that you allow at least one hour for each of these journeys.

There is a fantastic transportation wizard tool which I like to use available at www.ourlaughingplace.com.

It allows you to enter where you will be travelling to and from within Walt Disney World and then provides details on the best route(s) to take as well as giving an indication of the amount of time that the journey will take. I would add an extra 20 minutes onto each estimated time to allow for the time which may be spent waiting for your designated mode of transport to arrive.

I hope that this helps with your planning and wish you a magical trip!
