We are staying at the POFQ 09/18-09/25 OUr kids are 4 and 18 months...should we rent a car? I heard the buses can be a long wait at the end of the day with 2 small kids, but also heard driving and parking takes twice as long! Help!

    Hi Heather!

This is a big question--so many things to think about! My kids are almost the exact same age as yours (4 and 20 months) and I would NOT rent a car with them. My main reasons for choosing Disney transportation over a car:

    1. NO CARSEATS!
    2. You can keep them in a stroller as long as possible! I've been on the bus before where they didn't even make me take my son out of the stroller (I'm not saying this happens all the time but it has before!). If you're staying at a monorail resort, you can literally stroll them straight onto the monorail and then stroll them right off into your hotel! LOVE THIS.
    3. It's cheap! Using Disney transportation is included when you're staying at a resort!

Of course, the cons are that the buses only come about every 20 minutes and if there is a line, you could be waiting. And sometimes you have to go on the whole "route" ---so you might stop at 3 other resorts before your own.

It depends on what you think you and your kids can handle. Regardless, your vacation will be magical!
