Hi! Staying at POFQ the first week of March. I’ve booked a garden view room. Any suggestions for a specific building which would be a short walk to both the lobby & boat dock for someone with slight mobility issues?

Bonjour, Melissa and welcome to planDisney where we love answering guests' questions even more than Princess Tiana loves cookin' up some gumbo!

Melissa, I'm so happy to chat with you about Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter as this property holds a special place in my heart. From the ironwork to the beignets, you'll feel like you were transported to a Magical version of the Big Easy and I hope you love it!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter was the first resort my littlest Mouseketeer ever experienced and we felt like it was compact, cozy and easy to navigate. Since you'd like quick access to both the lobby and boat docks, I would recommend requesting buildings 2, 3, 4 or 5. Buildings 2 and 5 are a bit closer to the boat dock (and the pool area) while buildings 3 and 4 are closer to the lobby and dining (and Mickey-shaped beignets!). Melissa, please keep in mind that I can't guarantee requests will be granted, but from my own experience, I know Cast Members try hard to grant wishes when they can!

Melissa, I hope this helps as you're looking ahead to March... and as Princess Tiana would say, you're "almost there!" Wishing you a trip full of unforgettable moments. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have.
