We are staying at POFQ in Feb and I am wondering about eating out. We have the dining plan and am wondering how we find out what is included when we are in an eating place? Is the menu clearly marked... Also, is it made clear if a restaurant takes DP or no

    Greetings Sarah!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and ask us your lovely question. I am thrilled to hear you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort so soon.

The Disney Dining Plan is wonderful and I can assure you they've made it quite easy to navigate and use once on location. Each participating dining location and snack carts will have the Disney Dining Plan logo displayed. (It's a purple and white square with DDP and a cup with lid and straw.) If you are dining in a Table-Service restaurant let them know at the podium when you check-in that you are on the Disney Dining Plan and your server will direct you to what is included. At  Quick-Service and snack locations, look for the symbol next to the menu items or simply ask a Cast Member. They are more than courteous in helping answer any questions and helping direct you to the included items. If you'd like to look ahead of time, visit the Dining Page of the Walt Disney World Resort website and click on the restaurant in question. You'll then notice at the top, in the blue, to the right there will be either a "Some Dining Plans Accepted," or, "Your Dining Plan Accepted" links which will show you which Disney Dining Plans are accepted and how many entitlements they take.

Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to help you with! Have a wonderful vacation.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
