    Hi! Staying at POFQ end of May!!!--we have ADR at Chef Mickey's (8:45pm) & Spirit of Aloha (8:00pm)...Is taking a bus from the MK faster than taking the monorail? Have never ridden the monorail...Do we also need park admission for monorail?

    Hi, Danielle!   I am guessing you are asking how to get to the Contemporary and Polynesian from the Magic Kingdom.  (If this is not what you need, let me know!)

    From the Magic Kingdom, you can walk or take the Resort Monorail to the Contemporary.  Both take about the same amount of time (about 15 minutes), but I prefer to walk.  When you arrive at the Contemporary, go to the 4th floor for Chef Mickey's.  

    To get to Polynesian, you can take a boat from the launch or the Resort Monorail.  Again, both are the same amount of time (about 20 minutes), so you pick your favorite!

    Disney transportation, monorails included, can be boarded without using a park admission.   If you have never ridden a monorail, it is time you do!  This is a huge part of the whole Disney experience!  Have a great time at Disney, and let me know how you enjoyed the monorails!
