    Staying at POFQ and doing the waterparks for the first time. Will be using Disney buses. What's the best/fastest way to bus from POFQ to blizzard beach and to Typhoon Lagoon? Would it be better to go straight from a park one day?

    Hello, Rebecca! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I’m excited to hear you are getting ready for a magical stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, and at one of my favorite resort hotels! I absolutely love Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter. The beignets alone are reason enough to choose this resort. Yum!

    Rebecca, did you know that the My Disney Experience mobile app has a wonderful feature that will let you know estimated travel times between locations within the resort? I love this feature and use it often in my planning and while touring the parks! To find out the best route to take between destinations, simply use the search tool, find your starting point and then select directions. In the directions, type in your destination and voila! I just searched for directions between Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and it’s estimating 31-minutes via Disney’s complimentary resort bus transportation. To Disney’s Blizzard Beach it’s estimating an 80-minute travel time.

    One last tip! If you have to choose between the water parks, I highly recommend visiting Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon so you can experience the brand-new attraction Miss Adventure Falls, the longest ride in the history of the Disney water parks!
