Hi! Staying at POFQ in December. We will have one QS dining meal to use pp on our day of departure. Can you recommend a restaurant at a resort where we could use it for late breakfast/lunch? How can we get to other resorts from the POFQ? Thanks!

    Hi Tawn,

Thanks for your question!  Did you know that I'm a native Pennsylvanian?  I love to answer questions for folks living in the Keystone state!

My favorite resort quick service restaurants are Captain Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Resort and Roaring Fork at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Captain Cook's has yummy sandwiches and soft serve pineapple ice cream.  Roaring Fork recently added a variety of amazing flavored Mickey waffles.  That would make a fabulous brunch on your day of departure.  It is easy to access either of these resorts from Disney's Port Orleans Resort.  Just board a Magic Kingdom-bound bus from your home resort.  Then transfer to the resort monorail if you're headed to Captain Cook's at the Polynesian or a boat if you're going to Roaring Fork at the Wilderness Lodge.

Of course, you could use your last quick service dining plan credits at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court at your home resort if you feel you don't have adequate time to dine at another Disney resort.  They have some great options there, too!

Wishing you a spectacular December vacation at Walt Disney World!
