hi moms. staying at pofq 12-15/12-21. which building would be best for my mother in law, she is 81,and does get around pretty good, but longer distances and steps do bother her...I have requested building#2 ground floor. please advise.. thanks

    Hi there John.

You've chosen an excellent resort for your stay with your mother-in-law. This lovely and quaint property allows for short walks to pretty much everywhere! It's my favourite, moderate resort, hands-down!

If you've specifically reserved a Water View Room, then Buildings 2 or 5 would be your best options for short distances. Building 5 is slightly closer to the Bus Stop and Food Court while Building 2 is closer to the pool area and ferry dock to Downtown Disney.

If you're not concerned about a water view or have reserved a Standard Room type, then your best building option for proximity to dining, bus and pool would be to "request" a room in Building 4, closest to the Resort Main Building. Thanks to this resort's compact nature, there really aren't any long distances to cover on foot. Be sure to ask about your special requests again as you check in at the resort.

I hope these tips help you out John.
