We are staying at POFQ, have breakfast reservations at AK and are planning to spend the day at Typhoon Lagoon; will we have to take the bus back to POFQ from AK to get to Typhoon Lagoon? Thx!

    Hi Andrea!

Lucky you! Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is beautiful! And, as a Disney Resort Guest, you are entitled to complimentary Disney Transportation. This transportation system, using buses, boats, and the Monorail, transports guests from Resorts to Theme Parks, Water Parks, and Downtown Disney and back to the Resorts. It does not transport Guests from Resort to Resort (unless the Resorts happen to be on the same bus route), or from Theme Park to Theme Park.

The bus route to Typhoon Lagoon is usually shared with the one to Downtown Disney, however, please check with the Front Desk at your resort to confirm this.

For the morning of your breakfast at the Animal Kingdom, I recommend catching the bus from the Animal Kingdom Theme Park to the Animal Kingdom Lodge, disembarking and then catching the bus to Typhoon Lagoon there. This would most likely be the quickest route. Hopefully the timing will be just right so that you won't find yourself waiting the entire time between available buses!

Have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!
