Hi we are going to be staying at POFQ in August which building should I request to be closest to the food court and main pool. We are staying in a standard room. Thanks for all the help!!

    Hi Michelle,

I love Port Orleans French Quarter for its ambiance and its size. The great news is that this resort only has seven buildings, so you are not too far from anything, no matter where your room is.

That said, Building 4 is the one with standard view rooms that probably gets you closest to the pool, food court and bus station. Building 3 would be similar and maybe a little quieter. They are located on either side of the French Quarter Square building, which has the front desk, arcade, Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory food court (where they make hot beignets to order!), Scat Cat's Club lounge and Jackson Square Gifts & Desires shop.

The bus depot is adjacent to the French Quarter Square building, on the side closest to Building 4.

The only pool at Port Orleans French Quarter is in the center of the resort, also not far from either of the buildings I mentioned.

Here's a link to the Port Orleans French Quarter resort map, which may help. If you zoom in, you can see the building numbers. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions. Enjoy your stay at one of my very favorite resorts!
