    Staying at POFQ in April and was wondering what kind of Coffee pots are in the rooms? I have to drink low acid coffee and was wondering if there are Keriug type of coffee machines so I could bring my own coffee! Thanks for your help!

    Hi there Pauline,

    The rooms at Port Orleans French Quarter are equipped with Cuisineart dual brewer coffee makers that use the pods.  I have personally searched for those pods online and have not found much variety, unfortunately.  An option I would recommend would be a French Press.  You can find one at your local Target, Starbucks, or even on Amazon and it's a compact option which is perfect for traveling.  You will be able to use the Cuisineart pod brewer to dispense hot water for your French Press and you can bring along your favorite ground coffee!  Honestly, I love my French Press.  It really makes delicious coffee an it's a perfect in-room brewing solution.
