Hi Suzann,
I remember having a little one who woke up so early in the morning. I think that you will find that at this time of day, there are many other guests awake - runners often rise and shine early to take a jog, and other parents with little ones will be out!
I would start by taking your children outside and letting them walk or run around your resort. There is so much to see and hear at all of these resorts that I am sure your little ones will be entertained. At Disney's Beach Club Resort, you could walk around Crescent Lake and along Disney's BoardWalk. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can check to see if any of the animals are awake yet. At Disney's Port Orleans Resorts, there is a lovely path to stroll along from which you can see the Sassagoula River.
You will likely find that quick-service locations open up pretty early. For example, right now the
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory opens at 6:00 a.m. at Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter! You can head down for some beignets for the children and coffee for the adults! Please do check the hours of the quick-service location that you plan to head to as they can vary.
Also, consider getting ready for
Extra Magic Hours. These often start around 8:00 a.m., and offer Walt Disney World resort hotel guests extra time in a theme park before other guests may enter. By the time your little ones are up and have eaten breakfast, it may be time to head toward a theme park for Extra Magic Hours! Check the
Walt Disney World park hours for which parks offer Extra Magic Hours during your vacation.
Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Suzann!
