    Staying PO Riv Royal Rm for the 1st time for our honeymoon 9/2014! We booked Garden View RoyR but not sure of exact location of the Garden View rooms. Want a central/preferred location. Where should we specfically request? Do any RR's have queen beds too?

    Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials and then your fairy-tale honeymoon! You are going to have such a memorable time together creating memories as you begin your life together. My husband and I also honeymooned at Walt Disney World and so I always get giddy hearing about other couples doing the same.

    Disney's Port Orleans Riverside is a beautiful resort with a peaceful serenity about it. The landscaping is so well manicured and offers the guests a piece of southern charm. The specially appointed Royal Rooms are also fabulous. I recently got a chance to see one and was amazed at the details.

    These rooms are located in 2 specific buildings at Port Orleans Riverside. They are Oak Manor and Parterre. These buildings are very centrally located within the resort and are just a short walk over a bridge to the main building with the front desk and Boatwright's Dining Hall (table service) and Riverside Mill (food court). Oak Manor is closest of the two. They are both equal distance from the two closest bus stops, as well. Queen beds are available in most all of the rooms, including the Royal Rooms. Keep in mind that requests to a specific building cannot be guaranteed and is based on availability at time of check-in. Although, if you have specifically booked a Royal Room, you should be in one of the two buildings I listed above.
