We are staying at the Pixar hotel and have tickets to go into Disneyland. Would it be OK for my friend to come visit us in our hotel room while we are staying at the hotel but not have to go to Disneyland no tickets for Disneyland for her.

Hello, Linda, and a very warm welcome to planDisney! Thank you for trusting us with your great question.

You are in for a delightful stay at the Pixar Place Hotel, oh my goodness, and your friend is more than welcome to visit you there at the hotel, even though she doesn't have a theme park ticket! You'll both adore the whimsical artistry throughout the hotel and perhaps even have the chance to hear Joe Gardner from "Soul" tickling the ivories or meet Bing Bong in the lobby. These are magical moments, for sure. Consider meeting up with your friend at the Great Maple Restaurant on the first floor of the Pixar Place Hotel for some of their Famous Maple Bacon Doughnuts - definitely shareable! (Menus always subject to change.) Your friend would also receive 3 hours of complimentary self-parking, with validation of dining at the Great Maple!

Linda, I have to make sure I mention, since you are staying at the Pixar Place Hotel, you will have access to your very own designated theme park entrance into California Adventure Park, only for Guests staying at this hotel! This special entrance is right across the street from Pixar Place Hotel, and you should see signs directing you through a peaceful pathway. It took me and my son only about five minutes to walk there, at a very leisurely pace! Feel free to use this entrance (and exit) anytime during park hours, and especially for Early Entry.

You'll definitely want to take advantage of Early Entry, Linda, which allows Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests (you!) into one of the two parks each day 30 minutes prior to official park opening. Enjoy super low wait times on your highest priority attractions! Make your park reservations for Disneyland Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and California Adventure on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, to take advantage of this perk.

I'm so thrilled you have a special visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up and am excited for all the wonder and fun you're about to experience! If you have any other planning questions, please don't hesitate to ask me! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe where to find the best seasonal treats or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities.

    See you real soon!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
