Hey, Wendy!
With just a few sleeps until your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, I'm just going to dive right into your question. I have some very good news -
the pools at Pixar Place have reopened and are waiting for you!
I know how important those pool breaks are during a trip to the parks. I have a family of early risers, so we are at the parks for rope dope (also known as park opening), and by lunch, we are ready to head back to the hotel for a reset. Pool time is the perfect oasis, providing a place to cool off and recharge to get ready for more magic once the sun sets! I'm so excited that you will get to experience the newly refreshed pool deck at
Pixar Place, themed appropriately to Nemo and all his friends! I know my kids would be first in line for Crush's Surfin' Slide! Don't forget that the pool deck also offers a special spot to view the Disneyland fireworks on select nights! The best part is that the soundtrack is piped in, so it's just like you're standing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle!
When you check in, I always recommend asking for a list of the
resort activities. It's so easy to focus on all there is to do in the parks, but sometimes the most magical moments happen right at "home". For instance, currently on Tuesdays, Pixar Place is showing
Finding Dory, or you can test out your golf skills by booking a tee time at Pixar Putt! This pop-up mini golf experience is perfectly themed to the Pixar stories you know and love. We played a round of Pixar Putt when it came to Philly, and my son still talks about it being his favorite course!
Wendy, I'm wishing you a magical visit! If you have any more question ahead of your trip, we're always here to help a fellow Guest plan for some unforgettable memories here at
planDisney.
See ya real soon!
Tara
