Hi, staying at PC Oct 1 for our 14th trip to the World. Will there be any special event for the 40th anniversary

    Hi Evelyne,

You'll be back at Disney World before you know it! You've picked a great time to visit again. In addition to it being the Magic Kingdom's 40th birthday, it is also the opening weekend of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. There will be a lot of special, "not to be missed" events in Epcot for that.

As far as the 40th birthday celebration, many of us are anticipating something exciting, but specific details have not yet been released. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for information.

A whole bunch of us here on the Moms Panel will be down there for that weekend as well! If you see us, be sure to say hello!

    Have a wonderful vacation,
