I will be staying in the park with no transportation other than disney. What transportation is available for me to get to a catholic church? Do I have to take a taxi?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Germaine! Disney’s Contemporary Resort used to offer weekly religious services at one time, but sadly services are now only offered on Christmas and other high holidays at this time. If you’d like to visit a Catholic church of your choosing during your vacation, I can help you get there!

Since both Walt Disney World buses and Minnie Vans stay on Disney property, a great option for you may be Lyft and UBER. Both rideshares are readily available all over Walt Disney World Resort, though I prefer Lyft since I can earn skymiles with Delta each time I ride. You can bring up the rideshare app of your choice in the lobby of your hotel or outside the Parks gates and grab a ride in minutes. The longest I’ve waited for a ride was 10 minutes, even in the early hours of the morning to head to the airport. You can also arrange for a taxi or town car; your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel front desk staff can assist you with both the call or the scheduling procedure for your ride.

If I can help you find more magic on your upcoming vacation, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
