Hi Emily! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
I'm sure you're excited about your upcoming visit and have been inspired by the
sneak peek at the wonderfully reimagined rooms coming to Pixar Place Hotel. They look so colorful and fun! Unfortunately, while some elements of the transformation will be in place, the official date of the full transformation is January 30, 2024. Guests who stay on or after that date can expect to experience the reimagined rooms.
I'm sorry if you were counting on staying in a Pixar-themed room. I certainly understand. They look amazing, and I know my boys would love all those playful touches. You can follow the
refurbishment and construction updates, so you know what to expect during your stay. It's regularly updated.
Never fear though! I think you'll find that there are more than a few fun new things to explore. There are re-imagined elements in place, which you can already enjoy.
Pixel Pool and Nemo's Cove are open and ready for splashing around, and if you're looking for a toastier option, you can enjoy firepits near the pool while you lounge comfortably on couches. The theming is so cute! Then stop into STOR-E for all your Pixar-themed wants and needs in one whimsically themed space.
It's not quite open yet, but Great Maple is the new
dining location coming to the transformed Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. It looks very tempting based on those pictures! It should be opening in November, so keep a lookout for the restaurant's debut. I might put it on my must-eat list.
One of the best things about staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel is the
convenient access to the parks. You'll enjoy quick and easy access to
Downtown Disney District from your hotel and an exclusive entrance to
Disney California Adventure Park across the street. You can't get better than that! Plus, be sure to take advantage of
Early Entry. Our family loves that special perk.
I know you're going to have the best time! And if you're set on those new rooms, maybe start planning your next magical visit. Looking forward to our next trip is the best way to stem our sadness when it's time to say goodbye to the Disneyland Resort. There's always something new to experience.
Have a magical day.
Elizabeth
