We are staying at Paradise Pier in November. Are guests getting to stay in any renovated rooms or are they saving those for the grand opening in January?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Andrea. We are so glad you stopped by to share your question with us. I am so excited to hear that you will be staying at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel later this month. I stayed here a couple of months ago in September and really enjoyed my stay.

Last month, it was so exciting to see the announcement of the official opening date for Pixar Place Hotel. I was able to see some of the transformations in the lobby during my last stay (be sure to look down to see some beloved characters in the flooring), but I can't wait to see the complete reimagination of the hotel in the new year. It's unknown if any reimagined rooms will be available before the official grand opening on January 30, 2024. However, there are still plenty of reimagined areas for you to enjoy during your stay.

Earlier this summer, the Pixel Pool, Crush's Surfin' Slide and Nemo's Cove Splash Pad reopened to Guests. I had to chance to see the pool area during my last stay and the theming was just too cute. Even better news, fireworks viewing on the third-floor pool deck has also returned (on select nights). The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will be in full swing during your stay and I hope you will get to catch "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular.

Don't forget all of the wonderful benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. My favorite is the early entry benefit which allows you to enter the parks 30 minutes before the general park opening time. I especially loved using the direct park access to Disney California Adventure Park when I stayed at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. After exiting the lobby, turn left and walk to the next intersection and cross the street (toward Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa). On the right, you will see the gate to the path that will take you directly into the park. Just make sure your theme park reservation is for Disney California Adventure Park when you want to use this entrance.

While this is not the answer you were hoping for, Andrea, I hope I was still able to share some helpful information. You can also keep an eye on Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel Construction Updates for the latest and greatest on the hotel's reimagination.
