    I am staying at Paradise Pier in November very excited! It will be our first time on property. I was curious about the 'key to the magic.' Is this only a room key/charge card? Can we use other Disney pools with it?

    Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your Disneyland Resort question. I’m glad to hear you’re planning a stay at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel! The rooms there are decorated with bright and airy seaside-inspired furnishings (my family loves the beach ball-shaped pillows on the beds), and the property is just a hop, skip and jump from the Downtown Disney District and theme parks. 

    Your Key to the World card will grant you access to your hotel room. You can also use it to pay for meals and merchandise in the two theme parks and at select Downtown Disney District locations. Unfortunately, Disneyland Resort Hotel pool hopping is not permitted. However, Guests of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel can enjoy the scenic rooftop pool and the California Streamin' water slide, which is reminiscent of a classic boardwalk roller coaster!
