Hey Jennifer!
Welcome to
planDisney!
You’re going to love your next stay at
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel! I love the California beachfront vibe and the surf themed décor throughout. It definitely makes for a relaxing stay. Make sure you carve out some time to enjoy the rooftop pool and waterslide and bask in the views from this area. Since you’ll be visiting in July, you may be able to enjoy the fireworks from the third floor pool deck. I would ask if that will be available when you check in.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is the only hotel in the U.S. with its own entrance into a theme park. If you’re leaving your hotel to get to the parks, you will not be able to enter the gate to go inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. I just returned from a weeklong stay and there is a guard at the gate that makes you scan your room key to get in. Although you won’t be able to cut through the hotel, it is a nice walk from Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel through the
Downtown Disney District to get to the theme parks. Just this week Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa just opened up to all guests but you’ll need to use the Downtown Disney District entrance.
Well Jennifer, if you need anything else just come back and let us know.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
