Hey there, hi there, ho there, Robert, you’re as welcome as can be to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to see you back hEAR! I’d love to help you plan for your May vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that every standard room at
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel includes a mini-fridge for your convenience. In fact, the Guest rooms in all three
Disneyland Resort Hotels include mini-fridges, too! These units are the perfect size for stocking drinks and small food items, but keep in mind that they don’t include a freezer section. I think that’s a great idea to have some grocery basics on hand for your 5-year-old. As I’ve learned with my three young Mouseketeers, food and drinks can often help even the crankiest kiddo! As you mentioned, AmazonFresh is a good option for local grocery delivery, as are InstaCart and Vons. To set-up your delivery, use the hotel's address, and include your name and check-in date. Bell Services will contact you once your delivery arrives.
If you prefer to pick up some grocery items in person, there’s a small selection of basic items available at
GCH Craftsman Grill, located inside
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, which is just across the street from the Paradise Pier Hotel. There, you can find items such as wine, beer, soda, half-gallons of milk, bottled water, juice, small cereal bowls, and snack packs with meat, cheese, and crackers.
Save some room for delicious Disneyland Resort
snacks, too! My children are obsessed with the Goofy’s Candy Co. Character Gummies – they’re the perfect on-the-go treat! From Churros to Mickey Bars to DOLE WHIPS to popcorn, there’s a little something for everyone at the Disneyland Resort!
Please stop by with any other planning questions, Robert… I’m all EARs!
