Hi, we are staying at Paradise Pier, can we enter Disneyland through Grand Californian during magic morning hours or do we have to walk all the way around?

    Aloha, Jennifer!

Our next visit to the Disneyland Resort is also booked at the Paradise Pier Hotel. I'm really excited to get back to this bright, beach-themed oasis. Its location within the Disneyland Resort makes it one of the most convenient hotels to visit the theme parks. And the many benefits for Disneyland Resort Hotel guests help make this a fantastic vacation destination. My favorite benefit is Extra Magic Hour early admission into the parks each day of our stay.

The main entrance to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is limited only to guests of that particular hotel. So the path through the security screening area adjacent to the Disneyland Hotel is the correct path for guests of Paradise Pier Hotel to use for arriving at the theme parks. If you would like, you may still return from the parks through the Grand Californian to Paradise Pier Hotel. It's only about one-tenth of a mile shorter distance. But I admit that sometimes those small savings make it a little easier to get to bed after a long and exciting day at the Happiest Place on Earth!

As long as you are up early for Extra Magic Hour, you may also be interested in other early-morning benefits available to on-site hotel guests. For example, Fitness Activities include the Rise and Stretch in the Park. This is a 45-minute morning stretching session, held inside Disney California Adventure Park! Note that space is limited for these types of events and registration is required. I recommend that you register as soon as you check in on your first day at the resort to ensure the greatest chance of securing a spot. These events are subject to cancellation due to weather and may not be held each day of the week.

I hope your stay at the Disneyland Resort magical and memorable, Jennifer!
