Hi there, Cheryl!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question about
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. The rooms there are decorated with bright and airy seaside-inspired furnishings (my kids love the beach ball pillows on the beds), and the property is just a hop, skip and a jump to the
Downtown Disney District. Your whole family is going to have so much fun experiencing all the limited-time magic of
Pixar Fest throughout the resort!
The quickest walking route to the theme park entrances is to leave via the hotel’s back exit, turn right, and then follow the walkway toward the Disneyland Hotel. There is a security checkpoint for all Guests at the entrance of the Downtown Disney District. After that, continue walking through the Downtown Disney District on your way to the Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park main entrance turnstiles. The walk usually takes us about 10 to 15 minutes, but the amount of time spent at the security checkpoint can vary.
You could also choose to board the
Disneyland Monorail at the Downtown Disney District station near The LEGO Store. It transports Guests right inside Disneyland Park, so your family would step off the monorail in Tomorrowland.
I hope this information is helpful as you make plans, Cheryl. Please write back with any other questions you can dream of before your
Disneyland Resort vacation arrives!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
