Hi! We are staying outside of the park, at Marriott Harbour Lake. About how long of a drive is it to Magic Kingdom?? Also, we have a reservation for Chef Mickey's on a Monday morning at 9:40am. Will we hit any traffic driving there?

    Hi Andrea,

According to the Maps and Transportation section of the Marriot Harbour Lake website, it takes approximately 20 minutes to travel from your Resort to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

I would suggest that you aim to leave your Resort by 8.45am in order to arrive at Chef Mickey's in time for your advance dining reservation.

This will leave you with plenty of time for the journey itself, parking your car and making your way to the restaurant on your arrival at the Contemporary Resort.

Do remember that once you have finished your breakfast, you will be required to move your car to the Magic Kingdom parking lot for the remainder of the day.

If you are planning on spending the day at the Magic Kingdom, I would set off a bit earlier and head straight for the Magic Kingdom parking lot. Once you have parked up, you will be able to take the Monorail straight to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your breakfast and once you have finished, you can take the Monorail or a short walk straight over to the Magic Kingdom without having to waste any time relocating your car.

I hope that you enjoy your breakfast with Mickey and the gang and wish you a magical trip!
