Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! When we visit we always stay in an outer building. The two outer buildings that we've stayed in are Sago Cay and Boca Chica. Both are very nice! Of all of the outer buildings at that resort, I think that theme park view rooms at Boca Chica, Sago Cay, ad Conch Key will offer the best unobstructed visual of Cinderella Castle!
When booking your outer building room, it is important to select the "theme park view" option in order to have that preferred view. It sounds like that is what you've done! That room-type will be a slight upcharge, but it sounds like your Disney princess is looking forward to spectacular views of the Most Magical Place on Earth for her sweet 16! One of my favorite places to sit at the resort is at the waterfront located just outside
Gasparilla Island Grill! The view of Cinderella Castle from there is perfect! I love seeing the castle lit up at night while enjoying a late-night cheeseburger from the grill!
Julie, while celebrating your daughter's sweet 16, you might want to consider a Disney Dining experience at either the
Grand Floridian Cafe or
Narcoossee's! Both of these restaurants are located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! They are family favorites for us! Remember, you can book your Disney Dining reservations 60-days prior to your vacation arrival date!
Also, when you booked your room, did you remember to take advantage of the money-savings deal that is currently being offered? The
Spring into Magic Deal is currently available for rooms booked for most stays from April 18, 2021 through July 10, 2021. If you didn't take advantage of this deal when making your reservation, you can still check to see if this deal can be applied to your existing reservation.
