Hiya Rhianne - welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort holidays! First, let me say that you've made a great decision to stay with the Disney Resorts Collection. I just love it when the Disney magic follows me from the Theme Parks back to my comfy bed. Plus there is so much to do just at the Resorts - pools, activities, amazing food, and more!
Let me put your mind at ease -
parking at Magic Kingdom Park opens plenty early! While there isn't a set time, in my experience Guests are welcomed through the parking booths about an hour before the park's posted opening time. With
Early Theme Park Entry for eligible Disney Resort Guests now available, Cast Members do try to open the lots as soon as they are able to you. I also suggest speaking to a Cast Member at your Resort's Front Desk for advice on how to maximize your morning.
If it's a priority for you to be one of the very first Guests to enter Magic Kingdom Park, you might want to consider staying at a Disney Resort that offers special transportation right to the front gates. Guests of Disney's
Polynesian,
Contemporary, and
Grand Floridian Resorts can easily hop aboard a Monorail for quick access, and there are also walking paths available from these Resorts to help you be one of Mickey's first friends of the day!
I can't wait for you to have a magical experience! Be sure to check out the brand new
TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise. It's one of my favorite new attractions and it's located at Magic Kingdom Park!
See ya real soon!
