Do we have to be staying onsite to take part in some of the free experiences at the resorts, such as Chip & Dales campfire? If not, what are some other options that off-site guests could partake in?

Hey there, Lori, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by to see us with your question. Let's get you ready to do a little Resort-hopping at Walt Disney World!

One of the great things about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is that everyone is a Guest, whether you're staying in a Disney Resort hotel or not. While you won't be able to take a dip in a hotel pool, you can absolutely check out fun activities like Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, have a bite in the restaurants, do a little shopping, or even rent a boat and sail the Seven Seas Lagoon! My family lives in Florida and we've been Annual Passholders for years, so we'll often stop in at the Resort hotels to explore the amazing amenities and activities, even when we're just visiting for the day. And Disney bus, monorail, and water transportation is also complimentary for all Guests, so feel free to discover the whole World!

Lori, while you're planning your Disney days, don't forget to hop over to Disney Springs during your visit. It's a shopping and dining paradise, and there's no charge for admission or parking! It's one of my favorite ways to spend a day outside the Theme Parks.

I hope this helps you explore every corner of Walt Disney World, Lori. Please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
