We are staying in one of the Ft. Wilderness cabins. I know there is no guarantee, but is there a specific block we should request. We'd like to be near transportation & possibly laundry. We have a 13 mo old & a 4 yo. Thanks!

Hi there Yvette! I just had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground in November 2011 in a Wilderness Cabin and may I just say, this is a wonderful way to "rough it" in style!! I am pretty sure they had me hooked on "camping" when I saw the dishwasher and my daughter saw the bunk beds! I loved the ease of preparing meals in our full kitchen and the two onsite grocery stores had everything we could possibly need during our stay. We also really enjoyed the boat transportation to/ from the Magic Kingdom Park.

I would suggest utilizing online check-in up to ten days prior to your trip and selecting the "near transportation" option. You should also mention this request again when checking in at the Reception Outpost. Though Disney can never guarantee requests, they do try to accommodate to the best of their ability so that you can have a magical cabin location. Additional details regarding laundry and other amenities can be found at this link to the Disney website.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney camping vacation be practically perfect in every way!
