We will be staying at one of the Value Resorts at Disney. When we get there we will need to buy cold itmes such as milk and cheese...would it be cheaper to buy those couple things at the resort or go off the property and get it from a grocery store?

    Hi Kelly!

If you can, I would strongly recommend purchasing these items beforehand and putting in a small cooler. You can also request a room with a refrigerator for a small extra fee.

Most of the stores I've visited at the resorts and parks don't carry milk larger than pint sized, and I haven't seen sliced or block cheese one can purchase, outside of what's on a restaurant menu. You will also pay half-gallon prices for that pint sized milk at the park, hence the recommendation to purchase elsewhere if you can.

    Good Luck!
