We are staying one night at AS Sports, then transferring to PC the next day. I know Disney will transfer our luggage, but do we have to be in the room to have our bags brought up? Or could they while we are in the park? We plan on spending the day at AK.

    Hi Laryssa!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Enjoying a split stay at two Disney Resort hotels is so much fun, and almost like having two vacations in one.  Every Disney Resort hotel has unique theming with new pools, places and restaurants to explore, so I am sure you will enjoy your time equally at both Resort hotels.  Disney loves to make our stay as seamless as possible, and for that reason they will transfer your luggage from one Resort hotel to another.  I recommend that you discuss your plans with Bell Services at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort on arrival.  I expect you would take your luggage to them on the morning of your departure, before you check-out if you are heading to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for the day.  When your room is ready at Disney's Pop Century Resort, and it's time to check-in, you can either collect your luggage from Bell Services, or request that they bring it to your room.  It's a lovely simple process, that doesn't interfere with your day at the parks.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on events that may be happening during your stay.
