We are staying one mile off of Disney Property for our next visit. Is it better for us to rent a car and park at Disney or to take some kind of shuttle service to the Disney Parks? We have a 2 and 4 yr old.

    Hi Denise,

It's not clear which resort you are staying at, but in my experience, if you are staying off property, using a rental car to travel to and from the parks is the most convenient option.  In general, off-property resorts tend to offer shuttles that run on a somewhat sparse schedule (on the hour, for example).  With little ones in tow, I'm guessing there will be times when your family's schedule (for naps, etc.) might not coincide with the next bus back to your resort, and having your own car will be helpful.  In addition, you can use the car to drive to a local grocery store, and stock your room with some staples for snacks and drinks to bring into the parks.  This will enable you to save on concessions inside the parks, and ensure that no one in your clan gets cranky when they are looking for a quick snack!

    Have a magical trip!
