    We will be staying at one of the hotels, is it possible to leave and reenter the park in one day

    Great news Carrie!  With your park ticket you can come and go during the day as many times as you wish.  If you have the Park Hopper option added to it you can come and go to all parks in one day. This makes the vacation so much easier to plan as you can sneak a nap time in during the day and head back to a park for dinner and the nightly entertainment such as fireworks. Enjoy!
