If you are staying at one of the Disney Resorts, can you use any of the Resorts Pools?

    Hi Deborah, welcome to planDisney!

With your August arrival date, I can understand why the pools are important to you.  You will definitely want to plan some breaks at the pool to cool off during your stay.

Generally speaking, you will not be able to use the pools at other resort hotels. However, there are a few resort hotels that share pools.  For example, Guests staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort can use the pools at either resort hotel.  Similarly, the same is true for Guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  When researching resort hotels on the Walt Disney World website, the recreation tab will clearly outline which pools are available for Guests to use.

Walt Disney World also offers two water parks - Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  Both are refreshing and a ton of fun and I highly recommend them if time allows in your schedule.

Deborah, I hope you find this information helpful.  Please let us know if you have other questions as you continue to plan your magical Walt Disney World vacation.
