Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carrie!
Unfortunately, using pool facilities at a different
Disney Resort hotel – other than the one you booked – is generally not permitted. There are a few exceptions to this rule of complementary alternative pool use. For example, if the pool at your Disney Resort hotel is undergoing a refurbishment, Disney will arrange for pool privileges at another Disney Resort hotel nearby.
In addition, "pool hopping" is generally allowed between the two sister-resorts Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. Likewise, Guests staying at any of the All-Star Disney Resort hotels may pool hop between them. For example, if you are staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, you will be able to enjoy the pools at both Disney's All-Star Music Resort and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort too.
When staying on Membership at any of the
Disney Vacation Club Resorts, it is permitted to take advantage of complimentary alternative pool use; which provides access to the pool or pools at the Disney Vacation Club Resort where you are staying, select pools at other Disney Vacation Club Resorts, and pools at Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
All of the above being said, the privilege can exclude peak periods and blackout dates. At such times, Disney reserves the right to restrict pool access only to Guests staying at a specific resort hotel. To find out about pool-access availability, please check with a Cast Member at the time of your visit.
I hope you found information helpful, Carrie. Please come back soon with more questions.
Wishing you a splash-tastic time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
