While staying in one Disney resort hotel can you visit the other resort hotels and use their facilities ( pool, dining, etc)?

Greetings Holly, from one Bluenoser to another. I am always so thrilled to answer questions from fellow Nova Scotians!

Holly, you will be happy to know that visiting other Walt Disney World Resort hotels during your vacation is not only possible, but highly recommended. "Resort-hopping", as I like to call it, is a great way to take in all of the beautiful sights, architecture, activities and dining experiences available throughout Walt Disney World Resort. I especially enjoy visiting other Resorts during the holidays when they are beautifully decorated for the season.

Truth be told, some of my favourite restaurants at Walt Disney World are located at the Resort hotels, including Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I highly encourage you to explore these and other dining experiences at the Resorts. Be sure to book Disney dining reservations early as many popular restaurants fill early. As a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guest, you will be able to make reservations up to 180 days prior to check-in.

Unless you are a registered guest or are able to take advantage of "Pool Hopping" as a Disney Vacation Club member, it will not be possible to utilize pool facilities at other Resorts. However, you are certainly free to participate and enjoy other Resort recreation activities, including boat rentals at marinas, bike rentals, and fishing.

Wishing you a magical upcoming vacation, Holly!
