I will be staying in one of the CBR Pirate Rooms in November. There are only 4 of us, but I don't think the kids want to share a bed. I know the beds are full-sized and the rooms are smaller than the others. Is there room to add a cot?

Ahoy, Suzanne! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Yerr in for a real treat in those Pirate Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort as they are great for the youngest of swashbucklers to older buccaneers! As for the cots, I have been receiving mixed messages from my captain and crew (Cast Members), who say that they are available at SOME Disney Resort hotels based on availability and MAY require a small fee. If you really have your heart set on the Pirate Rooms, I suggest bringing an air mattress just in case your request cannot be fulfilled. Alternatively, your Disney Resort hotel does have refurbished rooms with a small pull-down murphy bed that would be perfect for your family! Perhaps call your Travel Agent or Disney Reservations to see if the switch is possible, heck you may even save money this way! If you do make the switch, there are still many pirate-themed adventures for your family to enjoy! Here are a few that come to mind:

-Pirate Adventure Cruises: Great for kids aged 4 to 12, and it will give the parents a few morning hours to relax!

-The Pirates League: Become a REAL pirate! My favorite aspect is that it is fun for anyone 3 or older!

-Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage: Party like a pirate while getting a great view of the Happily Ever After fireworks show!

    Anchors Aweigh!
