Hi Deb,
With an upcoming stay at
Disney's Beach Club Villas, you have certainly picked a fantastic place to vacation. This gorgeous Resort boasts close and convenience access to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and is the home of the incomparable Stormalong Bay, an expansive water playground with sandy bottom pools, waterslides and a lazy river. Be sure to bring your junior Mouseketeer to the large sandy play zone area where they can play, splash and build sandcastles to their heart's content. There's also a mini waterslide in the kiddie Shipwreck Pool on the Crescent Lake side of Stormalong Bay.
It sounds that you likely staying in one of the Deluxe Studios which come complete with mini kitchenettes, including a small sink, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, and a mini refrigerator. While the mini refrigerators are obviously not as spacious as the full refrigerators found in the 1-3 Bedroom Villas, during our time in the Studios my family has still been able to store cold drinks, milk, cream cheese, yogurt, and fruit in our mini fridge to enjoy throughout our stay.
Deb, you will be happy to know that you will be able to purchase smaller grocery items such as milk, drinks, yogurt and fruit at the
Beach Club Marketplace, open from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight daily. Another option is to complete a
Grocery Order Form and fax it to the Resort at least 3 business days prior to your arrival. Then, for a small service fee (currently $10), your order will be available for delivery to your room by 5 p.m. on your day of check-in.
Wishing you a fabulous upcoming Disney vacation!
Trish
