Greetings, and welcome to
planDisney, Kevin, we thank you for this
Spookactular question!
Wasn't it so exciting when the official
Disney Parks Blog, our mecca for all things Disney, announced the return of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?! What great news this was and I am so happy to hear that you are planning more than one visit to participate in this hugely popular special event, congratulations! And, two whole weeks at
Disney's Old Key West Resort? WOW! We loved our stay there as non-Disney Vacation Club Guests and were enamoured by
Olivia's Cafe and that yummy Buttermilk Chicken!
Kevin, you will be pleased to hear that Guests who hold a valid special event ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party do not need a
Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservation for their specially-ticketed event, isn't that great?! Plus, Guests will have access to early entry on the day of their ticketed event beginning at 4:00 PM ET, so take the beginning of your day to rest up at your Disney Resort hotel in preparation for your ghoulish fun à la Disney-style. Read through the
Walt Disney World Resort - Costume Attire Rules and away you go!
Tips:Guests of Disney Resort hotels, such as yourself, will be able to purchase your special event
tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party beginning on May 12 ahead of other mortals. And, if you are an annual Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club member you will enjoy special event ticket pricing for select dates!
You'll enjoy a complimentary trick-or-treat bag, a special 50th-anniversary celebration Halloween-themed print, and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party-exclusive special step-in photo opportunities!
Don't forget to add the
Disney Genie+ service option to your Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket purchase, or you can opt into the service on the very day of your visit beginning at midnight in preparation for your first Lightning Lane selection at 7:00 AM ET using the My Disney Experience App and update the Payment Method via My Profile on your Welcome Kevin page to facilitate app transactions for vacation essentials such as
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering.
Did you know that you can create a Disney MagicMobile pass to access your theme park tickets from your digital wallet with
Disney MagicMobile Service using the My Disney Experience App?
Take a look at the
planDisney Pocket Guide to Disney's Old Key West Resort for useful information, tips and advice in preparation for your extended visit.
Kevin, it was my great pleasure assisting a fellow Canadian Disney fan!
Boo to You!Jacqueline
