We will be staying at the old key west resort in March. A first time trip to Disney with four children? I know technically we aren't supose to pool hop...but yet some pools are shared. Are there other pools we will be able to hop to???

    Hello, RaKel!

You are going to love your stay at Disney's Old Key West resort!

In addition to the four "quiet" pools, the main pool there is really lovely, and the sand-castle slide is one which the kids will truly adore, too.  With food, drinks and activities right there, poolside at Hospitality House, you may never want to even consider hopping to another pool. With a playground, kids' pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, tennis, three tennis courts, a volleyball court, watercraft rentals, surrey cart and bike rentals in addition to Conch Flats Community Hall all right there, you'll soon realize that you might not ever want to leave!  We've stayed for two weeks and never had a moment to consider pool-hopping.

Now, if you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, pool-hopping is allowed at several DVC properties; however, if you are not a Member, then you may not pool-hop to another resort pool.  Many of the resort pools that are on par with Old Key West's pool and slide are accessible only by room key, so hopping wouldn't be possible.

For more information about your great resort, check out your recreation options on Old Key West's webpage.  I think you'll soon realize that you'll all be so happy with your "home" resort!
