Hi Lisette!
We discovered the
Disney Old Key West Resort a few years ago and it is now a place we love to go when we are not "glamping" at Fort Wilderness. The location is great in regards to most of the parks and Disney Springs. It is a large resort too so you have plenty of room to spread out and feel peaceful vibes during your stay. Probably the best part of this resort is the cast that work there. They are polite and always willing to go the extra mile for their guests. It is one of the best managed resorts on property in my opinion.
There are three pools on property but if you would like to be closest to the main pool and the lobby and food areas you would want to request buildings 11, 12, 13, 14, 62, 63, 64, and 23-26. All of these buildings will be within easy walking access to this area and also close to bus stops.
Each of the villas will provide a small dish liquid bottle for your use as well as a small box of detergent. If you find you need more then you simply need to call the housekeeping department and they will gladly bring some to your villa. When we stay we do bring our own dryer sheets as they are not provided.
You will really enjoy the one bedroom villas. They are HUGE and the living and dining and kitchen area has plenty of room for everyone to enjoy without feeling cramped. There is either a balcony or patio off of that area. The one bedroom is very large with a split bathroom that includes a big tub. They have been working on refurbishment and the new rooms are amazing but I do not know which buildings have been completed.
Have a magical vacation!
