Staying at Old Key West. Have a handicapped person with a scooter staying with up. Is there a certain building we should request to be close to be near first bus stop?

    Hi Gail,

Old Key West has handicapped accessible rooms available. However, only the three newest buildings (62, 63 and 64) have elevators. Many of the buildings have three floors, so if you did not reserve an accessible room, you'll want to be sure to request a first floor unit. Those buildings are relatively close to the Hospitality House which is the main building. The good news for you is that since you are traveling with a scooter, you have a fairly good chance of getting on the buses regardless of which stop you are near. Each bus has reserved seating for scooters and wheelchairs. While the rest of you in the party could end up standing, they will usually be able to get your scooter on.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
