If staying at old key west the first week of November 2026, is there a way to get to the 4 parks without having to use the bus? If not, how long would it take from the time you board till you get to each park?

    Hiya, Jacob! Welcome to planDisney!

Walt Disney famously said, “Here in Florida, we have something special we never enjoyed at Disneyland – the blessing of size.” And now at nearly 43 square miles, Walt Disney World is almost double the size of Manhattan. So it makes sense that guests, even experienced explorers, need directions from time to time.

The My Disney Experience app is the best resource for getting up-to-date Walt Disney World travel info. You just search your destination or tap it on the map, and the app will give you step-by-step directions and estimated travel times from your starting point. If you don’t have the app on your mobile device, I would download it ASAP.

If you want to stick with complimentary transportation, then the buses are your only option for getting to the theme parks from Old Key West Resort. There is a water taxi at Old Key West, but it only runs to Disney Springs. If you’re looking for a more direct route, then you may want to consider booking a Minnie Van through the Lyft app.

As for travel times, it’s difficult to estimate because not only are transportation schedules subject to change, but travel times can vary day to day or even hour to hour. Here are the estimated bus travel times at the time I’m writing this to each Walt Disney World theme park.

    - Animal Kingdom: 46 minutes
    - Hollywood Studios: 45 minutes
    - EPCOT: 45 minutes
    - Magic Kingdom: 45 minutes

Again, these times are estimates for today.  You’ll want to check the My Disney Experience app for up-to-date estimates and directions before heading out on your Disney day.

I hope this information points you in the right direction, Jacob. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You're as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
